Skype on the Scanners

Skype , a free internet telephony product, has a pocket pc client that works on pocket pc’s that have operating system versions greater than 2002. Our scanners have the 2002 operating system on them but they could be upgraded to 2003 via a $50 upgrade cost. I wonder if it would be worth it. Free voice over IP on the scanners would be pretty cool.
