Happy New Year!!!

One of my new years resolutions is to do a better job of keeping up with this blog so here’s my first post of the new year. 

First off I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful gifts everyone gave us for Christmas.  Ashton, Melanie, and I really appreciate all the wonderful thoughts.  I also want to thank everyone on Melanies side of the family for pushing the fried turkey on Christmas day.  I was a little overwhelmed cooking the main dish but the turkey came out wonderful.  I now feel the need to fry something else so I’m thinking about frying up some wings for the Super Bowl.  That’s all for now but I hope to be a little more prolific in my writing in the future.  Also….. Go Dawgs(Sorry Virginia Tech)
