Back from the dead

I haven’t written anything in a long time since I’ve been very busy at work for the last 7 months. Everyone is doing well. Ashton is walking and has started going to the mothers day out at one of the local churches. Melanie has decided to teach the second semester(if things work out) at the local high school so things will be a little busy when she starts back.

As far as the house goes, we have done some major things over the summer. We replaced the roof and had new windows installed. Melanie also re-painted the deck.  The roof was required because we started noticing water spots in the ceiling. The windows could have been re-painted but we knew they were looking pretty bad so we decided to opt for some more modern windows that would lower the heating / cooling bills.

I know that you all want to see a movie of Ashton walking and I’m working on it.  I should have several up in the next day or so.  I plan to get back to a semi-regular blog with more pictures and such.  Write to you, soon….
