A couple of cool geek related items I found

Here’s a new product Dave Winer is working on.  I’m still grasping
all the concepts involved with opml but I have a feeling it will be an
important tool to understand down the road.

If you use Virtual PC a good bit this is extremeley useful.

How to do callbacks in ASP .Net 2.0.  Very useful and I know I’ll use this bit of code in the near future.

Ashton is now in his own room

Last night we moved Ashton from our bedroom to sleep in his own bedroom for the first time. It was a little traumatic for Melanie since she has been used to taking 3 steps to see him but he slept well and so did we. :) We may have to make a slight modification to the bed to give it the same “slight tilt” of the pack and play until he gets used to sleeping on his bed but we’ll see if it’s still an issue after a couple of nights.

This was a mile stone that we thought we would never get to back in week 3 or 4 but he’s now what I would describe as a really good baby. He has his bad days but there is nothing like looking into his eyes and seeing him smile at you. It really makes you feel like you are connecting with him and that you are doing something that he likes. I’m really looking forward to seeing how he changes over the next few months.

My first attempt at a podcast :)

This is my first attempt at a podcast. I did it kinda late at night so ignore some of my jibberish.

Listen to it here.

This is my first test by posting from an email

Thie blog was actually emailed from my gmail email client and put up on
my blog.  It took me a bunch of hacking to get it to work but it
appears to have done the trick.  I’ll probably post up more
entries this way since it’s much simpler.
