FCC mandates 911 for VOIP providers

Since I just switched to Vonage, this was a very important item for me. After getting Vonage installed and activating the 911 service, I dialed 911 to see where my call was routed. I was happy to find out that it went to the main desk at the local police department. I asked the police officer several questions and felt confident that this would work for me.
