Since ipodder.org doesn’t have a good search mechanism, this is really needed. Of course I am running out of hours in the day to listen to both music and podcasts.
You really have to read this article to understand how wrong this is.
I really think the way around this is to invest in embedding commercials in the programming, not wasting money in doing this. Whatever broadcasters come up with will be reverse engineered by other talented individuals. I guess only time will tell if this works.
Edit: I took the video down since it was eating up my bandwidth.
Since I got a new camcorder for the new arrival in a couple of weeks, I had to take a couple of movies. Here’s a quick one I did of where I work. It starts out with a view from the window and them moves into my cubicle. If you’re wondering why I have a poster of a woman on the left side of my cube, it’s actually a signed poster from Yancy Butler of the now defunct TNT series WitchBlade. She stopped by for an appearance when I first started working at TBS so I got her to sign a poster of herself.
On the home front, our baby furniture should arrive this week. As soon as it arrives, I will post up some pictures. I will also be posting up some of the pictures of the baby shower as soon as I get them from Peter.
I’m a home automation geek so this one is on the long list of things I’d like to have. I was just about to buy the x10 version of this thermostat several months ago but I held off and I’m glad. Here is the new thermostat.
It’s available now for $15. Get it here.
I like the comparison Peter Gavin makes. Read the article here
In Atlanta(at least where I live), you must leave for work before 6:45am in the morning or 3:30pm in the evening(coming home) or you get stuck in traffic. I have had day dreams where either I had a flying vehicle like this or could teleport myself like star trek. It looks like at least one of my day dreams might come to fruition. Read more about this cool vehicle here.
FreeCiv is now released. Read about it here
